Patrick Regan OBE is a dedicated activist and mental health advocate. He is the Founder of two esteemed charities, XLP and Kintsugi Hope. With accolades like CEO of the Year 2023 for Mental Health Training and an OBE for his Services to Young People, he is a recognized figure. Patrick is also an Honorary Fellow of South Bank University for his contributions to Justice and Wellbeing. As a seven-time published author, he is a confident and passionate speaker on various topics, including mental health, wellbeing, resilience, and social conscience. Patrick’s journey in charity work began after a transformative experience at age 16, and he founded XLP in 1996, which he managed for 22 years. His experiences working in challenging environments around the world enrich his speaking engagements. In 2018, he co-founded Kintsugi Hope, a mental health charity that collaborates with churches and communities to promote emotional wellbeing. Having battled depression and anxiety himself, Patrick’s powerful talks and charity work help individuals understand they are not alone in their struggles.
