Fishing for people this holiday season

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
Mark 1:17

Jesus utters the above words as He calls Simon (Peter) and his brother Andrew to become His disciples and to share His message. Today, Andrew is celebrated as the patron saint of Scotland on St Andrew’s Day, every 30th November.

During national holidays such as this, or as we approach the Advent season, it’s full of opportunities for us to naturally talk about our faith with our friends and family so that we too can “fish for people” by bringing them to Jesus.

We made a couple of Praise UK episodes filmed in Edinburgh where we interviewed people who had encouraging stories to share about how God is working in this city and changing lives.
