A “mega-tsunami” revival coming to the UK – Stirring the Waters of Revival

We recently caught up with Gery Malanda (Voice of Healing) who will be leading us for the premiere of our new live prayer and worship programme, Stirring the Waters of Revival (Saturdays, 8pm). Gery spoke to us about his hopes and expectations for the show, as well as how he discerns the Holy Spirit, and what he believes the Holy Spirit is doing in the UK at this time.

How did the vision for Stirring the Waters of Revival come to you?

The vision of Stirring the Waters of Revival started for me back in 2007, when the Holy Spirit spoke to me about a “mega-tsunami” type of revival that was coming to the UK. I heard that the tidal waves of this revival will reach the 50 European nations, and one of the epicentres will be in Glasgow, Scotland.

Being divinely warned by God like Noah of the coming of the abundance of rain in Hebrews 11:7, I have made preparations through praying and fasting.

By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household.

The Lord spoke to me about 300,000 families will be saved in Glasgow. In 2018 the word of the Lord came to us as a church, saying:

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Tell us about Stirring the Waters of Revival. What can people expect?

In the days of Noah, in Genesis 7:11, on that day all the fountains of the great deep (or the tectonic plates) were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Then, in Genesis 8:2-3 the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days, the waters decreased.

Stirring the Waters of Revival is about breaking the fountains of the deep which are within every born-again believer, as Jesus told us in John 4:14, so that out of our belly can flow rivers of living water according to Jesus in John 7:37-39.

God controls the opening of the windows of heaven, but it is our responsibility to break up the fountains of the deep, to pick up our spiritual shovel and pickaxe and unstop all the wells of revival which our forefathers in the faith previously dug up, but the enemy then filled them up with dirt. This is just like in Genesis 26:18-26, where Isaac dug again the wells which Abraham dug, because the Philistines filled them up with dirt.

As long as we keep the fountains of the deep open, the waters of revival will flood the earth, but when those fountains are closed the waters of revival recede and eventually the land becomes dry again. We want to reopen those fountains of the deep through the shovel and pickaxe of the Word of God, repentance, and prayer with fasting as we have been doing in the secret place.

There is no revival without repentance, as it is written:

If my people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

For Righteousness exalts a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:34

People should expect the pouring out of the Spirit of Elijah the restorer, for God wants to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers (Malachi 4:5-6). People should expect words of knowledge, prophecies and divine healing when the waters of revival are stirred. For in John 5, Jesus by a word of knowledge knew that the man by the pool of Bethesda was sick for 38 years. At that pool of Bethesda an angel came down to stir the water in the pool and whoever stepped in first in that pool after the stirring of the water was healed of whatever sickness.

What was your process for discerning the leading of the Holy Spirit?

In August 2021, I was led by the Holy Spirit to fast and pray for 51 days and 51 nights, for the stirring of the waters of revival for the 51 states of Europe.

On the 53rd day the word of the Lord came to me, and the Holy Spirit told me to take a train from Glasgow and go to Berwick-upon-Tweed, there the word of the Lord would be given me. When I arrived, the Holy Spirit told me to walk to the shore of the river Tweed. Then I saw a plate on one of the benches with the inscription: “100,000 salmon fish come every year to the Tweed River to spawn”.

Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, “Learn from the Atlantic salmon that migrate to Scotland to spawn every year, and just like 100,000 of them come every year to Scotland to spawn, expect 300,000 families to come from the nations to be saved in Scotland and bring back that revival to the 51 states of Europe”.

What do you believe the Holy Spirit is doing in the UK at this time?

I believe the Lord has already been stirring the waters of revival in the four nations of the United Kingdom.

There are various epicentres of that mega-tsunami type of revival that the Lord is going to send. Just like before the birth of Christ, prophets like Simeon and prophetesses like Anna have been praying and fasting for multiple decades, for they heard from the Holy Spirit that they will not see death until they have seen the manifestation of the move of God in their generation (Luke 2:25-37).

I know, from the mouth of the Lord Himself, that He has thousands of His saints who have been praying and fasting for the stirring of the waters of revival all over the United Kingdom. We are not the only ones God has spoken to, and we are not the only ones who are praying and fasting for the move of the Spirit.

We should not be like Elijah who was short-sighted and said:

“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

Therefore, at this time the Holy Spirit is asking us, through this Stirring of the Waters of Revival to join our voices with the thousands of anonymous faithful saints who have been praying and fasting for revival, together we can cry out to the Lord in unison, saying:

“Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation, deliverance and healing (Psalm 85:6-7).   O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known throughout the United Kingdom and to the 51 states of Europe; In wrath remember mercy (Habakkuk 3:2). Let the earth will be filled once again With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14)”.
