Winner of the 2022 Charity Times Rising Leader Awards, Ben is founder of Power the Fight, an award-winning charity tackling violence affecting young people. Ben and his team are committed to creating sustainable change and links between the community and policy makers. Ben has more than 20 years experience of mentoring young people and heading up successful social initiatives. He’s worked as a learning mentor, for the Youth Offending Service, with Camden council, and is part of the Youth Violence Commission to name a few. His first book, the No1 Bestseller, We Need To Talk About Race – Understanding the Black Experience in White Majority Churches was released in July 2019 through SPCK Publishing.
